The Division features both toiletries and appliances marketed under the Jheri Redding®, Grand Finale® and Conair® labels, which are exclusively for salon use and resale.
The Personal Care Division
The Division holds the number one position in the industry with hair dryers and curling irons. Its products also include health and fitness appliances. Its private label program provides custom-branded products for leading retail chains.
The Interplak Division
The INTERPLAK® Power Plaque Remover has a unique counter-rotational cleaning action that achieves nearly plaque-free results simply by gliding the spinning bristles along teeth.
The Consumer Toiletries Division
The Division, established in 1979, markets an extensive line of hair care products under the Conair® and Jheri Redding® names, including shampoos, conditioners, styling aids, hair brushes and shears. Also marketed under Jheri Redding® are bath and skin care products.
The Consumer Electronics Division
The Division has long been a leader in corded telephones. In 1993 it strengthened its position in the industry with the formation of its Southwestern Bell Freedom Phone Retail Sales Division through a marketing and distribution alliance with Southwestern Bell Telecom. This results in one of the strongest sales and distribution channels in the industry.
The Cuisinart Division
Since its acquisition in late 1989 the Division has regained its leadership in kitchen appliances through top quality and timely new products
The Conair Packaging Company
The Company manufactures a full line of health and beauty aid products in liquid, aerosol, powder or stick form for Conair and for private label accounts at a company-owned plant in Rantoul, Illinois. The facility maintains state-of-the-art manufacturing as well as Research and Development capabilities.
Conair Appliance Manufacturing
The Appliance Manufacturing, located in Costa Rica, assures quality control and cost efficiency and is responsible for supervising worldwide production of Conair® products.
International Operations
These Operations are a growing portion of the company's business. Conair Consumer Products is a wholly-owned subsidiary in Canada. Continental Conair Ltd., based in Hong Kong, is the company's own research, trading and quality control operation and also supervises the manufacturing and distribution of private label appliances for major retail chains.
